How to be creative in your programming career?

によってLe Wagon Tokyo

説明

When you think of the “typical” programmer, what comes to your mind?
Probably you picture someone who is analytical, methodical, logical, and mathematical, in other words, left-brain traits. But what if the image of a programmer also included qualities like creativity, passion, and curiosity? That would be great, right?

For this talk, we're excited to welcome two software developers, Shelly and Michelle, who are developers by the daylight and artists in their spare time. They'll share their career journeys in Japan and talk about tips on how to foster creativity in the IT working routine.

🚀 About Shelly

By day a software developer at a Japanese startup, Shelly takes inspiration from the developer’s life and transforms it into punny illustrations and stickers at night. Having worked at an elementary school before coming to Japan, she is always exploring ways to use code to make learning fun.

🚀 About Michelle

Everyday software dev and sometimes artist, Michelle’s been working as a software developer for 9 years and doodling for as long as she can remember. Passionate about community and knowledge sharing, she uses her skills to create and share artistic sketch-notes.
