Learn Python Basics and Build Your First Machine Learning Model
Join us at Coveo's office, for an engaging 1-hour introduction to Python, where you'll learn the fundamentals and see how to build your very first Machine Learning model. Discover Python's practical applications in industry through insights shared by two specialists from Coveo.
Format
- Workshop: The event kicks off with a 1-hour session led by Le Wagon instructor Saeed Afghah, who will guide you through core concepts in Python. During the workshop, you'll gain access to Le Wagon’s e-learning platform, where you can explore slides and additional practice exercises to continue learning beyond the event.
- Q&A: We will continue with a talk with Coveo specialists, Jason Berkey and Gabriel Bibeau, who will talk about how python is used in their day to day.

Saeed Afghah, Senior Dev QA Tester, Behaviour Interactive
Saeed Afghah is a recent graduate of Le Wagon's Data Science & AI Bootcamp and currently serves as a Senior Dev QA Tester at Behaviour Interactive. He is recognized for his strong communication, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail, with a passion for quality and creativity. Saeed is also a Teaching Assistant for Data Analytics at Le Wagon, where he shares his expertise and enthusiasm for learning.

Jason Berkey, Director of Support, Coveo
Jason Berkey has worked in IT since 2001, specializing in SaaS and multi-tenant environments for the past 12 years. He joined Coveo as a Product Specialist and has advanced through leadership roles to become Director of Support. His career spans diverse technical expertise, including installations, break/fix services, and on-premises support.
Gabriel Bibeau, Manager of Technical Support, Coveo
Gabriel Bibeau transitioned from practicing law to tech after completing a coding bootcamp in 2019. He joined Coveo in 2020 as a Product Specialist, later becoming a Technical Account Manager and now Manager of Technical Support. Gabriel focuses on strategic client success and team leadership.
